SBS Nagar : (Gurpreet Vasu/Raj Kumar)The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Thursday assured the shopkeepers, traders, businessmen and entrepreneurs of Nawanshahr that on the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab after three months, the entire trade and business of the state would be given complete relief from the ‘Inspector Raj’.
He said the ‘recovery raids’ on shops, offices and factories under the guise of inspector raj will be stopped forever On the last day of his five-day Punjab tour, Manish Sisodia interacted with businessmen and entrepreneurs in a dialogue-discussion program, where dozens of traders and businessmen suggested their needs as well as their problems along with their concrete solutions. Small and big shopkeepers to big businessmen and entrepreneurs expressed their dismay at the attitude of the political parties who had been occupying power in Punjab towards the business fraternity and demanded to get rid of the ‘Inspector Raj’. For this reason, the traders and businessmen at every level are unhappy with the corrupt government system.The traders-businessmen and entrepreneurs of Punjab want to get rid of the raids and recovery, being done under the guise of inspector raj; but neither the Akali-BJP government nor the government of Captain and Charanjit Singh Channi of the Congress could get relief from this loot of the traders. Speaking on the occasion, Manish Sisodia said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has no place for corrupt practices like ‘inspector raj’.
The rule of the last seven years in Delhi bears testimony to this claim of mine. Therefore, as soon as the AAP government is formed in 2022, the inspector raj will end, the same day, he added. “We have done this in Delhi and will do it here as soon as the AAP government is formed in Punjab, ” said Sisodia.e said that traders-businessmen and entrepreneurs need a peaceful environment to run their business, they need the development of their area and financial help from the government; which the AAP government will provide from day one.
Because when the AAP formed the government in Delhi for the first time in 2015, the budget of Delhi was only Rs 30, 000 crores but Arvind Kejriwal and other ministers held meetings with different sections including business fraternity and not only reduced the tax from 12-13 percent to just 5 percent. Apart from this, the budget of Delhi has increased from Rs 30, 000 crores to Rs 60, 000 crores in five years.Manish Sisodia said that 144 facilities in Delhi were started at door- step and the tradition of getting work done from home by contacting only 1076 was started. For this reason, my house was also raided once by the CBI, but it is an example of honesty that even after tireless efforts, the investigating agency had to return empty-handed. He made it clear that on the formation of the AAP government in Punjab, a new Punjab will be created and after that Punjab and its people will forget all other parties.
He said that all this is possible only when every section, including traders, businessmen and entrepreneurs, supports the AAP, because when the industry will prosper and progress, only then employment will increase and Punjab will become prosperous.
