AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has expressed deep grief over the demise of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee member Randhir Singh Cheema from Sri Fatehgarh Sahib.
Advocate Dhami, recalling the Panthic services of Randhir Singh Cheema, said that he was a humble and sincere Akali and good-hearted person.. Cheema served as a Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee member for a long time and did important work in the field of education along with the propagation of religion.
He said that the demise of Cheema has caused a great loss to the family and the Sikh organization Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.
Advocate Dhami expressed his condolences Sharing his grief with the family of Randhir Singh Cheema, he prayed to the Almighty to grant the departed soul a place of rest at his feet and give the family the strength to bear the loss.
Meanwhile, a condolence meeting was held at the Shiromani Committee office in the name of. Randhir Singh Cheema and tributes were paid to the departed soul.
On this occasion, prayers were offered by chanting the Mool Mantra and Gur-Mantra and the offices and institutions of the Shiromani Committee were closed in the afternoon as a mark of condolence.
