NANGAL: The Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) clinched the title at the 28th Inter-CPSU Volleyball Tournament held at Nangal, marking a remarkable 28th consecutive victory in the event’s history. This outstanding achievement showcases the consistent excellence and dedication of the BBMB volleyball team over the years.
The tournament, hosted by BBMB from November 11 to 13, 2024, saw participation from 10 Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs), with each team displaying remarkable skill, sportsmanship and competitive spirit.
At the closing ceremony, Mr Manoj Tripathi, Chairman, BBMB, congratulated all the teams for their spirited performances, stating, “This tournament stands as a testament to the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship of all participants.
Securing the title for the 28th time reflects not only the hard work and commitment of our players but also the incredible spirit of our organization. “I commend the BBMB team for their victory and applaud every player who competed with passion and integrity. Events like these strengthen bonds between our organizations and promote a healthy, active lifestyle.”
The tournament concluded with an awards giving ceremony that recognized outstanding performances from both teams and individual players. The organizing committee expressed sincere appreciation to the participants, coaches, officials and supporters for their roles in making the event a resounding success.
