Actor-singer and social media celebrity Anveshi Jain recently released her new music video titled Banjaare, which is helmed by Shershaah director Vishnuvardhan. The video is shot and edited by Film maker Shubh Mukherjee who is all praise for his director, who he says he has learnt a lot from.
Talking about his experience of working with Vishnuvardhan on Banjaare, he says, “It was very interesting to work with such a skilled director. People know him from Shershaah, but he has done some really path breaking work in the South.” Shubh himself has directed a film titled Kahwa, which has been screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
Shubh goes on to share how he and Vishnuvardhan are also similar in their approach to work. “The way he envisions his films is something very similar to what I do. He is somebody who understands cinematography and editing too. And this song, I have not only shot but also edited. He understands where I come from and being around someone who is very much like you in their thought process, there is so much to learn from him. He brings such a calm demeanor to get things done and that's how even I like to do it. I might get very restless on set, but overall I like to maintain a calm environment on set, and that's something I took back after working with him, ” he insists.
