AMRITSAR: Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, who has the charge of NRI Affairs, today reached the house of Majitha Road resident Amandeep Singh, who was arrested in a case in Laos, and told the family that his son has been released by the police and Soon he will return to the country.

Talking to reporters here today, Mr. Dhaliwal said that Amandeep Singh and another youth, Karandeep Singh, were arrested by the police in a very serious case in Laos near Thailand, but the family raised the issue with the Punjab government on time. The cases of the youth were resolved and now their release has become possible.

He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, our government is continuously working to help the cases of Indian Migrants, due to which more than two and a half thousand Migrants have been helped since this government came into existence. The cases of Indians have been resolved.

He said that these boys will also return to their country soon.

Dhaliwal appealed to the youth to go to foreign countries only through legal means and stay and work there legally.
