PHAGWARA: Ten Cows were found dead in mysterious circumstances in Shri Krishan Gaushala at Mehli Gate Phagwara late tonight.
Several Hindu Leaders rushed to the Gaushala and alleged that some miscreants had purposely given some poisonous eatable substance to the cows due to which the cows have scummed to death.
Phagwara S.P. Rupinder Kaur Bhatti and DSP Bharat Bhushan reached in Gaushala.
SP Bhatti told The Tribune here late tonight that cops have started investigation into the matter. The Hindu leaders demanded that miscreants should be booked soon and strict punishment should be given to them.
S.P. Bhatti said CCTVs are being scanned and all concerned are being questioned. Further details are awaited.
