NAKODAR:The Nakodar city police have arrested a person on the charges of fraud and criminal conspiracy.
SP(Investigation) Manpreet Singh Dhillon said that that the accused has been identified as Balwindar Singh a resident of Dosanjh Kala village in Phillaur. .
Sukhdip Singh a resident of Sangal Sohal village under Lambra police station had complained to the Jalandhar(rural) senior superintendent of police that the accused and his accomplices under a planned conspiracy prepared his fake power of attorney and Aadhar card and sold his 12 acres land and got register three sale deeds in Nakodar tehsil causing him a loss of Rs 1.68 crore.
IO said that a case under sections 419(cheating by personating) 420(cheating) 465.467.468, 471(fraud) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused and others after an inquiry.
