AMRITSAR: Zonal Youth Festival of Education Colleges of the Guru Nanak Dev University was concluded in Dashmesh Auditorium of the University. Khalsa College of Education, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar bagged the position of Overall Champion while Khalsa College of Education, G. T. Road, Amritsar first Runner’s up and Government College of Education, Jalandhar second Runner’s up. Prof. (Dr.) Amit Kauts , Head Department of Education was the chief guest on this occasion.
Prof. (Dr.) Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi, Dean Student's Welfare welcomed the chief guest and others. Dr. Amandeep Singh, In- charge Youth Welfare said that the competitions of Costume Parade, Mimicry, Skit, Geet/Gazal & Folk Song, Painting on the Spot, Sketching & Poster Making, Collage, Clay Modeling, Slogan Writing & Cartooning, Poetical Symposium, Elocution & Debate, Group Shabad Bhajan, Group Song Indian & Gidha, Rangoli, Phulkari, Mehndi & Painting Still Life, Quiz & Preliminary & Final were organized during this festival .
Prof. (Dr.) Amit Kauts , Dr. Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi, Dean Student Welfare and Dr. Amandeep Singh, Incharge Youth Welfare gave the trophies to the winning teams and congratulated all participating teams.
