MOHALI: The Department of Radiology and Imaging Technology, University School of Physiotherapy and Radiology of Rayat Bahra University organised a two-day hands-on workshop in collaboration with Allex Medical System Pvt. Ltd. and focused on the use of pressure injectors in radiology.
The workshop was organised at the University School of Physiotherapy and Radiology (USPR).
This event was aimed exclusively for Medical Radiology students at RBU students, providing them with a unique opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the use of pressure injectors, a critical component in diagnostic imaging.
The workshop was overseen by Chairperson Dr Lalit Kumar Gupta and Co- Chairperson Dr Pankaj Kaul with key coordination by Organising Chairperson Varshdeep Kour, Organising Secretary Rajesh Rohilla and Co-Organising Secretary Mamta Panda and Faculty Mohini Gupta.
Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, and Dr Parvinder Singh Vice-Chancellor, appreciated the initiative in organising the workshop.
Their combined efforts ensured the workshop's smooth execution and success. The workshop began with theoretical sessions designed to provide participants with a foundational understanding of the various types, mechanisms, and clinical applications of pressure injectors in radiology.
These sessions were instrumental in enhancing the knowledge base of the participants, ensuring they were well-prepared for the practical components of the workshop. The second segment of the workshop was dedicated to hands-on training.
Practical sessions were conducted, allowing participants to interact directly with the equipment, learn the operational aspects, and understand the different parameters associated with the use of pressure injectors. This experiential learning approach was aimed at boosting the confidence and competence of the attendees in handling this sophisticated radiological equipment.
