MOHALI: Gian Jyoti Global School, Phase 2, Mohali, celebrated its 50th anniversary with a grand alumni meet, marking five decades of educational excellence and strong community spirit. The event served as a heartfelt reunion of past students and teachers, bringing together generations to commemorate this significant milestone.
The day’s festivities began with a traditional Tilak Ceremony, symbolizing respect and warmth towards the returning alumni. A special "50 Years of Journey" video presentation took the audience on a nostalgic trip down memory lane, showcasing the growth and development of the school from its inception to the present day. Gidha and Bhangra was also performaned the students at this occasion.
In a touching gesture of gratitude, Ranjeet Bedi, the Founder Director Principal, presented Appreciation Tokens to the alumni, recognizing their contributions to the school and their achievements in various fields. The event concluded with an emotional Vote of Thanks delivered by Sh. J.S. Bedi, Chairman of Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions, who expressed his deep appreciation to everyone who has contributed to the school’s legacy and the success of the event.
The celebrations were beautifully captured in a Group Photo at the school’s iconic Amphitheatre, followed by a commemorative Plantation Activity where students, alumni, and staff planted trees to symbolize the growth and continuity of the school’s legacy for future generations.
