DHARAMSALA: Ajit Agarkar, the assistant coach of Delhi Capitals, praised Rishabh Pant, their previous captain and an international player. He said that Pant's absence being a big blow to the team, Agarkar acknowledged that it provided an opportunity for another wicketkeeper to step up, which unfortunately did not happen.
Agarkar also noted that the Delhi team, despite having big-named international players, has not been performing at the level they are known for. However, the team is determined to improve their position by winning their last matches, even though they are out of the playoffs.
The assistant coach admitted that the team is still searching for their best bowling and batting combination, but with the upcoming match in Dharamshala, they are hopeful for a win.
PBKS will be facing DC in a IPL encounter at HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Wednesday, May 17.
