Sikhya Langar spreads to remote village Gurudwaras in Punjab.

AMRITSAR: The movement of Skill Sikhya Langar started by Dr. Vikramjit Singh Sahney, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from Punjab is spearheading to the remote villages in Punjab, one such centre was inaugurated at Village Pahuwind the birthplace of Shaheed Baba Deep Singh on his birth anniversary on Sunday.

The Gurudwara which has got a huge land allocated an adequate space for setting up of skill centre to impart free skill training to the youth of nearby areas to be run under the technical know how of Sun Foundation, duly affiliated to National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Government of India.

The Ardas was performed by Bhai Guriqbal Singh Sant ji in auspicious presence of Col. H. S. Sandhu President, Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Foundation along with thousands of Sangat, Sr. Gurbir Singh CEO of Sun Foundation inaugurated the centre

Dr. Sahney said that I am happy that the movement of Skill Sikhya Langar is reaching various Gurdwaras and we are happy to open and support this Skill Centre in a remote border district of Punjab and a historical place of a great Warrior Shaheed Baba Deep Singh.

Dr. Sahney exhorted to all gurdwaras to come forward to setup such skill centres for which he promise to provide all the financial and technical know how assistance.
