Six accused awarded life imprisonment for murder of a youth.

KAITHAL: On Tuesday, 6 culprits were sentenced to life imprisonment and fine by the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Nandita Kaushik in the case of murder of a youth. In case of non-payment of fine, the culprits will have to face additional imprisonment.

According to the complaint of Narar village resident Ram kumar, on May 31, 2019, when his son Sunil reached near Gyarah Rudri Temple Kaithal in his car, suddenly five unknown boys riding two motorcycles stopped their motorcycle in front of Sunil's car and Sunil was pulled out of the car and they attacked him rapidly with sharp weapons, sticks and rods in their hands.Who hit Sunil repeatedly on the head and other parts of the body. During treatment, doctors declared Sunil dead. Regarding which a case was registered in the city police station.

In the said case, accused Gurmel, Vicky alias Sultan, Ashok Kumar alias Shoki, Ankit, Sandeep and Rajkumar, residents of Farsahmajra village were arrested by the police. After the police collected solid evidence during the investigation, the case was filed in Court and the case was persued by prosecution by adducing strong evidence during hearings from time to time. The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Nandita Kaushik, in its 80 page decision, sentenced the accused Gurmel, Ankit, Sandeep, Rajkumar, Vicky to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 60, 500 and the accused Ashok to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 70, 500. There were 29 witnesses in the case.
