AMRITSAR: Sukhbir Singh Badal Badal president Shiromani Akali Dal has strongly condemn the heinous attack on a peaceful Sikh youth in Kaithal as a separatist. This is a direct result of the politics of hatred and communal polarization that has been driving the country down the wrong path for the past decade, reviving the dangerous anti-Sikh policies of the Indira Gandhi era.
He said that This is a calculated attempt to humiliate the most patriotic Sikh community of the country. This will deepen the feeling of alienation within the Sikh community. This politics of communal polarization is threatening the peace and harmony of Punjab by taking it in its grip.
He appealed to Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini to take exemplary action against the accused. The kind of dangerous politics some forces are now ready to play in Punjab is a dangerous sign of this.
The Shiromani Akali Dal also appeals to Punjabis and the rest of the country to be aware of these conspiracies to push Punjab and the country into a dark era of communal hatred and violence for cheap political gains.
