KAITHAL; Rohit, a class 9 student in a government school in nearby village Chandana, died due to snake bite. The student was 15 years old.
According to the information received, the snake was hiding inside the pipe of the bench and it bit Rohit on his right hand. The children informed the school head master Mahesh Kumar who took him to the hospital. Rohit was immediately brought to Kaithal Civil Hospital by Rajendra, a teacher of school, where boy died. Post mortem of Rohit's body has been done. The family alleges that there was no cleanliness in the school, hence the snake came and hid in the bench and bit the child, resulting in his death.
