AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has strongly condemned the desecration of Gutka Sahib of Gurbani in Golewala village of Faridkot district.
Advocate Dhami said that the continuous occurrence of incidents of desecration of Gurbani in Punjab is a matter of great concern.
He said that such incidents of desecration of Gurbani, which shows the way of life to man, hurt the sentiments of Sikhs.
The SGPC chief said that it is necessary to have strict punishment for those who desecrate Gurbani, so that such incidents can be stopped.
He said that due to the governments not taking strict action against the accused, the courage of such elements is increasing.
Advocate Dhami demanded that the culprits of blasphemy should be identified and strict action should be taken against them.
He also appealed to the devotees to respect and take care of the holy Gutka Sahib of Gurbani kept in their homes.
