Divulging details, the deputy commissioner, Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa said that the district had a pendency of 12 complaints on the day of 'NRI Meet' held at Jalandhar by Punjab NRI Affairs Minister, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal two months back.
After attending the NRI Meet, the follow up meetings were conducted regularly to dispose of the issues on priority, said Randhawa while adding that, today, as a result of the dedicated efforts, now the district has zero pendency.
It is worthwhile to mention that Punjab NRI Affairs Minister, Kuldeep Singh today chaired an online meeting to review the grievances of the Punjabi NRIs with respective districts and it was proudly apprised that the district SBS Nagar has successfully cleared all the pendency.
