CHANDIGARH: Shiromani Akali Dal has decided not to contest bi elections of Punjab Vidhan Sabha .
This decision was taken during the meeting of Shiromani Akali Dal working Committee meeting which was held at its headquarters here today in view of Akal Takht Jathedar directions. It may be mentioned that Akal Takht Jathedar had not granted permission to Mr Sukhbir Singh to participate in the election campaign because he is Tankhaiya.
