AMRITSAR: Shiromani Akal Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal has been declared ‘Tankhaiya’ (guilty of religious misconduct) by the Five Sikh High Priests of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
Giani Raghubir Singh Jathedar Akal Takht highest seat of Sikh religion announced this decision and asked him to appear at Akal Takht Sahib within 15 days.
The five high priests held a long meeting to discuss the allegations against Sukhbir Badal levelled by rebel SAD leaders. They have accused Badal of involvement in cases of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib, apology to Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Raheem Singh and appointment of Sumedh Singh Saini as DGP of Punjab.
