Extends greetings to all youth Congress workers
CHANDIGARH: Punjab Youth Congress President Mohit Mohindra today launched the tree plantation drive on occasion of 64th foundation Day of the Indian Youth Congress and congratulated all the youth Congress members and admirers on this auspicious day.
Mohit Mohindra in a message said that IYC is the biggest youth organisation of India and it was started with the main motive of fighting for the rights of youth and social reforms. He said that Youth Congress was first to start blood donation movement and tree plantation in the country. He said that IYC takes the credit for tirade against dowry deaths and domestic violence and also supported the family planning programme in India.
PYC president said that he was elated to share that Congress party has decided to provide political platform to young women. He said that women comprise fifty percent population of the country. He said that women would get their voice on social and political front due to initiative taken by youth congress.
Mohit Mohindra today launched tree plantation drive from Khanna and Kapurthala in Punjab. He appealed to youth congress members and general public to save environment and plant maximum trees.
