CHANDIGARH: Punjab Advocate General Anmol Rattan Singh Sidhu was reportedly attacked by unidentified miscreants while he was returning from Delhi to Chandigarh in Shatabdi train. He was attacked with an object near Panipat Railway station.
The miscreants threw a stone like object on the glass pan of boggie exactly near the seat of Sidhu. The glass was broken but Sidhu escaped unhurt. Police reached on scene immediately after Sidu informed about the attack. Sidhu said he was not sure if it was a stone or some other object. The possibility of bi=ullet shot is not ruled out as Sidhu said it was matter of investigation.
Sidhu was returning from Delhi after appearing in the Supreme Court in a case related to arrested gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The gangster is in custody of Punjab Police in case related to murder of Sidhu Moosewala.
