Phagwara CIA incharge SI Sikandar Singh selected for President's police medal

PHAGWARA: The CIA staff in charge Phagwara Sub Inspector Sikandar Singh has been selected for the honor of President's Police Medal on the occasion of Independence Day. Sikandar Singh Virk was born on February 14 in the year 1972 in village Mithapur Jalandhar. He studied in Khalsa College, Jalandhar and got a job as a constable in the police department after getting a good reputation in athletics, after which he got promoted due to hard work.

In the police department, he had worked as SHO in Kartarpur, Nakodar, Rawalpindi, Satnampura, Bilga, and Incharge of CIA staff Kapurthala, CIA and Phagwara.
He has shown excellent performance in the campaigns against anti-social elements and have made great achievements in arms and drug trafficking, during which he has recovered 6 head grenades, 3 Tiffen bombs, RDX, 17 pistols and drugs money of Rs. 54 lakhs.
