GURDASPUR: The recruitment committee formed from Sri Akal Takht Sahib received a huge response in Majha after Malwa, Doaba. Today, under the leadership of the five-member recruitment committee members Sardar Manpreet Singh Ayali, Jathedar Gurpartap Singh Wadala and Jathedar Santa Singh Umaidpur, the recruitment of Shiromani Akali Dal began in Gurdaspur, district of Majha.
The grand gathering sealed the fact that just as the big gatherings held in Malerkotla, Jalandhar, Sangrur, Patiala, Samrala, Majha also came to the fore.
Addressing the congregation present in the pandal, Ayali said that the biggest reason for the issues related to Punjab being forgotten is the political weakness of the state's representative party, the Shiromani Akali Dal.
Ayali said that today Punjab is being used as a political experiment. Punjab is being looted from every field. Making a sharp attack on the parties running from Delhi, Sardar Ayali said that the rulers of Delhi have always betrayed Punjab, given us wounds of the throat, the pain of which we are still suffering today. Our waters were plundered, our capital was taken away, our warriors who fought for their rights refused to release the captive Sikhs.
Speaking about the NRI brothers, Sardar Ayali said that Punjabis have contributed a lot in every field, the contribution of Punjabis in every corner of the world cannot be forgotten. Today, the parties running from Delhi are looting our NRI brothers in a big way. After the Afghans, Abdalis, and British, political raiders are looting Punjab.
Ayali said that the top institutions of the nation are being attacked today. Sardar Ayali appealed to elect servants dedicated to the Guru during the upcoming SGPC elections, saying that only the election of servants dedicated to Sri Akal Takht Sahib can strengthen the Panth and the nation.
Speaking in detail on the Jhunda Committee, Sardar Ayali said that after the shameful defeat in the assembly elections, we went to the workers, the workers gave a very clear message to change the leadership, but our leadership did not show a sense of sacrifice and we lost the Lok Sabha elections in a bad way.
Ayali said that today there is a need to restore democratic values in the party, so that political power and decision-making power are not limited to a particular person. Therefore, in the coming time, necessary major amendments will be made in the party constitution.
Wadala said in his address that those families are returning, who had moved away from the party in the past due to leadership mistakes.
Wadala said that today our principles are being attacked. Mr Wadala said that today the leadership, which has lost the moral basis of political leadership, is challenging Sri Akal Takht Sahib through bogus recruitment. They are scared of the support being given to the recruitment committee by the people who have run away from Sri Akal Takht Sahib, that the process of creating obstacles is continuing continuously.
Bibi Jagir, speaking on Panthic issues, said that today our institutions are being attacked on the instigation of Sukhbir Singh Badal. Our arms are being broken. People who have fled from Sri Akal Takht Sahib are stubbornly challenging us.
Ravinder Singh, speaking on Panthic crimes and agreements made for votes during his address, said that Panthic thinking has ended in the Shiromani Akali Dal. Today the party is being run by some people for their own benefit. The political nexus within the party has crossed all limits. Sardar Ravinder Singh gave a voice to the workers that today there is a need to restore democratic values within the party and free the party from political nexus.
Jathedar Umaidpur, speaking in a strong tone, said that the leadership that has run away from Sri Akal Takht Sahib is electing a bogus president through its bogus recruitment. This is the leadership that has committed the crime of hiding everything and turned its back on Sri Akal Takht Sahib. To hide their incompetence, they suppressed the report of the Jhunda Committee.
