AMRITSAR: The Diocese of Amritsar (DoA), Church of North India (CNI), on Saturday installed Rev Ayub Daniel, one of the senior most priests of the diocese as the Administrator, and Mr Daniel B Das, one of the high-ranking functionaries of the diocese as the Secretary, ADTA.
Rev Ayub Daniel replaces Rev Lily Samantaroy, former Administrator, DoA, CNI. At the same time, Mr Daniel B Das has been installed as the Secretary of the ADTA in the place of Mr Sadrick Sohan Lal. An installation ceremony to this effect was held at the diocesan headquarters at 26 RB, Prakash Chand Road, Police Lines, Lawrence Road, Amritsar.
The Most Rev Dr P K Samantaroy, Bishop Emeritus-designate, DoA, CNI, and Rev Lily Samantaroy presided over the installation ceremony. While assuming office, both Rev Ayub Daniel and Mr Daniel B Das vowed to work to the best of their abilities to further the diocese and the welfare of the community, at large.
