PHAGWARA: In a big shock to AAP as three newly elected AAP Councilor (Ward no 44)Balwant Rai Kotrani and Rupinder Kaur Hothi Joint Secretary Women Cell(AAP)joined in the congress party in the presence of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Raja Warring and Leader of Opposition in Punjab Vidhan Sabha Partap Singh Bajwa and Phagwara MLA Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal. With this the number of congress councilors have risen to 23.
While addressing the media, Raja Warring stated that from the MP Elections held in Punjab, and recent MC Elections it has been made clear by the people of Punjab that their first choice is Congress. He stated that MC candidates who has won with good margins would be given higher responsibilities by the Congress. He emphasized that health condition of Jagjit Singh Dallewal is critical but nothing is being done by State and Centre governments.
He further opined that Dallewal should end his fast as governments are not taking serious stern about his health. He further charged that law and order situation in Punjab has been deteriorating since AAP has come to power in Punjab. He alleged that AAP has failed to control law and order situation in Punjab as now and then bomb blasts has been taking place in Punjab. Thus AAP government is not competent to handle issues of Punjab efficiently.
Pratap Singh Bajwa stated that Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann is being handled by Arvind Kejriwal and government in Punjab is run by leaders of AAP sitting in Delhi. He further added that it is shameful that CM Punjab has not went to Khanouri to take stoke of health of Dallewal but preferred to fly to Australia even.
