Warns against not accepting resignation of SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal
AMRITSAR: The Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh has expressed his displeasure with the leaders of Shormani Akali Dal Badal for not obeying the orders issued by Sri Akal Takht Sahib on 2nd December 2024.

Talking to journalists today, Giani Raghbir Singh said that the Akali Dal has not shown any interest in accepting the decision of Panj Singh Sahib . The Akali Dal should not hesitate to accept this decision. Every decision issued by Shri Akal Takht Sahib should be implemented accordingly.

In a reply to a question asked about the case of Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh of Takht Sri Damdama Sahibth, the Jathedar said that the inquiry committee which was formed to investigate the case of Giani Harpreet Singh by Shiramani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee had objected that day too and said that about the Jathedars of Takht Sahibs. Only Sri Akal Takht Sahib has the right to do any kind of investigation.

He further said that when Giani Harpreet Singh went to the Takht Sahib and told the whole story in front of the five beloved Singhs in the presence of the Guru Granth Sahib, then there is no need to investigate.

In response to a question about the removal of the turban of Bhai Narain Singh Chauda, the Jathedar said that a person named Jaspreet Singh made this grave mistake. Of course, his apology has reached Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
He has knowingly removed Bhai Chauda's turban, so Panj Singh Sahibs will take a decision on his case soon.

Talking about it, Jathedar said that it is a pity that the Indian government could not protect the rights of its citizens. Earlier, the farmers were sitting on the Singhu border, then the farmers are fighting for their rights on the Shambhu and Khanori borders regardless of the weather. Jagjit Singh Dallewal has been on hunger strike for 40 days. Even though Sikh religion does not have the concept of hunger strike .
