PSPCL will clear lines for construction of Rego Bridge in three days: Amritsar DC Sakshi Sahni

AMRITSAR: Taking the ongoing delay in the construction of Rego Bridge seriously, Deputy Commissioner Amritsar Mrs. Sakshi Sahni directed in a high-level meeting of the departments concerned that any work of any department that is hindering the construction of this bridge should be completed as soon as possible , so that the construction of the bridge can be completed.

On this occasion, she instructed the officials of the concerned department to remove the electric wires passing over the bridge within the next three days and asked them to give clearance certificates in this regard.

She said that alternative arrangements should be made to provide uninterrupted supply of electricity to the area beyond the bridge, which also includes the Amritsar Cantt area.

She asked the officials of the Electrical Wing of the Railway Department and the PSSPCL to sit together and remove the obstacles in the work of this bridge.

She said that this is the time to work together and move forward towards resolving the issue. She also told the railway department officials that if they face any problem in the construction, they should contact me immediately so that all the issues can be resolved quickly and the bridge can be started for construction.CaptionDeputy Commissioner
