AMRITSAR: Giani Raghbir Singh Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib has expressed grave sorrow over the death of Jaspal Singh Heran, senior journalist and editor-in-chief of Pahredar newspaper.

In a written statement issued by Sri Akal Takht Sahib Secretariat, Giani Raghbir Singh said that Jaspal Singh Heran was a devotee and pro-Punjab journalist and with his untimely death there has been a great loss in the field of Punjabi journalism.
Expressing deep sympathy with his family on the demise of Heran, he prayed to the Almighty God for the spiritual peace of the departed soul.

Meanwhile Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has expressed grave sorrow over the death of editor of daily Paheredar newspaper Jaspal Singh Heran and said that Mr. Jaspal Singh had an important place in the field of Punjabi journalism.

Expressing his condolences to the family of Jaspal Singh, he prayed to the Almighty to give the departed soul in his feet and give strength to the family.

Meanwhile, the senior vice president of the Shiromani Committee. Harbhajan Singh Masana, Junior. Vice President Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa, General Secretary Bhai Rajinder Singh Mehta and former President Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal also Condolences to the family on the death of Jaspal Singh Heran.
