A jatha of Sikh pilgrims will go to Pakistan on November 14 to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji

AMRITSAR: A Jatha of Sikh devotees will leave for Pakistan on November 14, 2024 from the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee office to participate in the events to be held at Gurudwara Sri Nankana Sahib Pakistan on the occasion of the Prakash Gurpurb of the First Guru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Giving information in this regard, Secretary of the Shiromani Committee. Pratap Singh said that on the occasion of Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji, the Shiromani Committee sends a jatha of Sikh pilgrims every year to visit the Gurdwaras in Pakistan.

In this regard, the passports of the pilgrims who reached the Shiromani Committee have been sent to the Pakistan Embassy for VJ.

He said that according to the scheduled program, this jatha will go to Sri Nankana Sahib Pakistan via Wagah border on November 14, where it will participate in the events related to the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on November 15.
This jatha of pilgrims will return to India on November 23 after visiting various shrine.
