Sikh delegation affiliated to BJP led by Manjinder Singh Sirsa honors CM Naib Singh Saini

CHANDIGARH: A high-level Sikh delegation led by BJP National Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa today met Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and thanked him for allotting 10 acres of land for Gurdwara Chilla Sahib in Sirsa. This delegation also raised issues faced by the Sikh community in Haryana.

Apart from Manjinder Singh Sirsa, the delegation comprised prominent Sikh leaders of Haryana, including Jathedar Bhupinder Singh Asandh, President Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (HSGPC), Kanwaljit Singh Ajrana, Baba Sukha Singh Ji Kar Seva Wale, Baba Joga Singh, Baba Harvel Singh, Baba Subek Singh, Baba Darshan Singh, Baba Ruby Singh, Jathedar Baljit Singh Daduwal, Sudarshan Singh Sehgal, Bibi Ravinder Kaur Ajrana, Sukhwinder Singh Mandebar, former MLA Bakhshish Singh Virk and Gulab Singh Moonak, among others.

After the meeting, Manjinder Singh Sirsa disclosed that the delegation presented the demands of the Sikh community of Haryana, to which the CM assured quick action on every aspect. He said that they raised the pressing issue of the demolition of houses of Sikh families in Nising of Karnal and advocated for the construction of new homes and various other demands. He noted that the meeting was held in a cordial and positive atmosphere, and the Chief Minister showed keen interest in the demands put before him.

Sirsa disclosed that the purpose of this meeting with hundreds of Sikh community members from every nook and corner of the state was to thank the CM for the welfare works being done by the BJP government led by him for members of the Sikh community in the state.

The delegation also honored Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini with a robe of honor (Siropa) on the occasion. The event was attended by approximately 1, 500 Sikhs.
