MOHALI: The University School of Computing of Rayat Bahra University conducted the Industry Conclave. The event brought together senior delegates from tech giants like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Q-volve, and Pi-Soft.
Industry experts and thought leaders delivered talks on current industry trends, challenges, and innovations. Panels involving industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and academics discussed the emerging trends in the industry.
Adithya Salady, Software Consultant from Microsoft, Jyoti Saxena, Senior Developer and SAP Analyst from IBM, Shivangi, ERP Project Portfolio Management from Oracle, Sandeep Sinha, Head, Strategy and Initiatives from Q-volv, and Harish Chawla, Vice-President, Pi-Soft, were the resource persons at the Conclave held in physical and virtual mode.
Practical workshops were organised to allow students and professionals to explore cutting-edge technologies. This was followed by a Q&A Session with the students.
Dr Anand Shukla, Dean of the University School of Computing, welcoming the participants said that such conclaves provide a common platform for technocrats, scientists, academia and research scholars to discuss and share ingenious ideas, technical expertise, research finding related science and technological field.
Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra of Rayat Bahra University, who was Chief Patron of the Conclave, said that technology plays a vital role in today’s world. He underlined the importance of constant updating of technical knowledge in new research areas which he said was necessary for academic growth.
Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University, expressed happiness over the success of the Industry Conclave and said he was optimistic that deliberations at the Conclave would prove to be immensely helpful to the participating delegates and experts.
