KAPURTHALA: In view of Punjab Assembly Elections 2022, the Election Commission of India has launched a special drive for continuous registration of maximum number of young voters. Voter can fill up Form No. 6 to cast his/ her vote. He should be a resident of Kapurthala district.

She said that in order to encourage the Campus Ambassadors appointed in the colleges / polytechnics of District Kapurthala, the Campus Ambassador who registers the highest number of new voters every month has also been awarded the title of 'Election Star of the Month'. Will be given.
The first winner will be selected based on the number of new voters registered. Therefore the Campus Ambassador would have to send the report of the number of registered voters to the office of the Election Tehsildar by July 4, 2021.
Thus, the Campus Ambassadors who have registered the highest number of new voters by the end of December 2021 will be accorded special honors on the occasion of National Voters Day.
Apart from this the members of the Electoral Literacy Club (School) set up at District Kapurthala would also honor the members of the club who have registered maximum number of 18 year olds.
