PHAGWARA: A Motorcyclist was killed when a speeding car hit his bike from rear side near Eastwood Village on National Highways last night.
The deceased identified as Ravi Kumar resident of Jalandhar was coming to Village Khatti near Phagwara along with his wife Kamaljit Kaur to meet their relatives.
The speeding car driver managed to flee after hitting them.Kamaljit also sustained injuries. The Police have registered a case under section 304A, 336, 279 IPC against the unknown car driver.The body of the deceased has been handed over to the family after post-mortem examination conducted in local civil hospital.
