PHAGWARA: Two Unidentified masked faces armed robbers looted a Tyre Shop near GNBL College and snatched Rs 23, 000/- from the shop owner Ashwini Kumar. The robbers attacked and seriously wounded an employee Sonu who resisted. The robbers managed to flee leaving the injured employee Sonu and Shop Owner Ashwini in deep shock .
The Injured Sonu was admitted in local civil hospital. The Police have registered a case under relevant act of BNS.
In another incident a Mobile Shop was reportedly burgled near Phagwara—Hoshiarpur Road last night.
Unidentified miscreants entered in the shop after breaking the shutters of the shop and took away valuable goods including cash of Rs 50, 000/-and dozens of mobiles phones from the shop. The Victim Shop Owner Aman Kumar said the chowkidar informed him at wee hours about broken shutters. The Burglars took away DVR after breaking CCTVs of the shop. He said he rushed to the shop and found his shop burgled. The Police have registered a case.
