CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB), during its ongoing campaign against corruption in the state, on Thursday apprehended Junior Engineer (JE) Ranjit Singh, posted at Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd (PSPCL) Sub Division, Amritsar South while he was demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs Rs 25000.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the state VB said the above mentioned accused has been arrested based on a complaint lodged by Navdeep Singh, a resident of Amar Avenue, Ajnala Road, Amritsar.
