PHAGWARA: A Scooterist was killed on the spot when the Activa bearing registration number PB-09AD-4579 was hit by a speeding canter from rear side near Vishal Mega Mart in the city last night.The deceased was identified as Tushar Singh resident of Staff Colony Phagwara.
The Police have registered a case under section 304A, 427IPC against the unknown canter driver who managed to escape leaving the canter behind. The Police have handed over the body to the family members after post-mortem examination conducted in local civil hospital.
