HPCL and RCED take cleanliness drive in Maloya Village

CHANDIGARH: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) joined hands with the Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED) to orchestrate a noteworthy cleanliness drive in Maloya Village as part of Swacchata Pakhwada.

The event, graced by key figures including Mr. Prem Singh, Deputy General Manager, Chandigarh LPG Regional Office (HPCL), Mr. Paramjit Singh, Director of RCED, underscored the pivotal role of cleanliness in community health.

Mrs. Afsana Kumari, Senior Marketing Officer of Chandigarh LPG Regional Office (HPCL), and Mrs.Ramneek Kaur from NULM Chandigarh, shared insights into the importance of hygiene and ongoing efforts in the region. Mr. Prem Singh, Deputy General Manager and Mr. Manoj Kumar, Manager- Chandigarh LPG Sales Area (HPCL), highlighted HP Sakhi initiatives and encouraged starting cleanliness efforts at home.

The participation of around 40 enthusiastic women exemplified community spirit in action. Coordinated by Mr. Satvinder Singh, Senior Consultant at RCED, and supported by Mr. Jatinder Singh and Ms. Pragati Katoch, Faculty of RCED and Mrs. Manjeet Kaur, President City and area level federation, the program included distribution of sanitary napkins and slippers to promote holistic well-being.

The event concluded with Mr. Satvinder Singh’s closing remarks, expressing gratitude for the collaborative effort towards a cleaner environment. This initiative reflects HPCL and RCED's commitment to community welfare and sustainable development, empowering individuals to contribute meaningfully to a healthier society.
