MOHALI: The Rayat Bahra University has tied up with Eton College in Canada to start courses where the students would spend two years at the Rayat Bahra University and two years at the university in Canada.
A unique feature of the programme is that the students can begin their Canadian programme at Eton College India and adapt to Canadian education culture. The students can save 60 percent money in the first two years by studying at the Eton College Indian campus at the Rayat Bahra University.
Similarly, the Rayat Bahra University has started a unique pathway to earn a medical degree under its pathway to USA programme.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, disclosing this today said that it was a joint venture of the Rayat Bahra University and Eton College, Vancouver Canada.
Bahra said that it was a joint delivery programme, where the students would spend two years at Eton College India campus and two years at City University, Capilano University, Royal Roads University and Vancouver Community College.
He said that it was a pathway to Canada as the students would have the facility of two years education at Rayat Bahra University and two years at one of the above-mentioned institutions.
The programme would be supervised by the faculty of the Eton College, Canada and the students would be eligible for post-graduation work permit in Canada after completion of their degree.
The programmes offered under Pathway to Canada include Business Administration Major in hospitality management and Business Administration Major in Travel and Tourism.
The students would be eligible for postgraduate work permit in Canada after completion of the degree.
Similarly, the Rayat Bahra University has started a unique pathway to earn a medical degree under its Pathway to USA programme. The students can get enrolled for a basic science foundation course and for that they have to apply to Saint James School of Medicine.
Under this programme the students have to start their first-year course foundation programme with Rayat Bahra University. They would spend the second and third year of the course to complete basic science at St. James at St. Vincent. In the fourth and fifth year the students would complete their clinical rotations in USA hospitals.
