MOHALI: The Department of Computer Applications Science Engineering of Rayat Bahra University organized an industrial visit to Net Solutions company , Chandigarh, for shortlisted students of CSE 5th semester and MCA 1st Semester Students to Covalience India Pvt. Ltd .The objective of the visit was to make the students conversant with the software industry to understand the current market scenarios, and help students get real-time exposure.
Dr Anand Shukla, Dean, Computing Science, said the students
also got conversant with professional work culture and interacted with highly trained professionals. Dean Dr Anand Shukla emphasised that these industrial visits play a vital role in enhancing technical skills of the student which was the need of the hour. He underlined the importance of regularly conducting such activities which were essential for updating practical knowledge of the students
Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University Gurvinder Singh and Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh complimented the Department of Computer Engineering of the University for organising the industrial visit and stressed on the need of giving practical exposure to the students.
