BATHINDA: Central University of Punjab Bathinda (CUPB) becomes students top choice for quality higher education in India as more than 83000 applicants have applied for admissions through CUCET-2020 against 1267 seats offered by CUPB in its various 42 Post-Graduate & 35 Doctoral Programmes.
The registration process for CUCET-2020 was completed on 6th June 2020 and its examination dates are scheduled from 18th to 20th September 2020. The test centres of CUCET-2020 are earmarked at 141 selected cities of India where applicants would appear in their respective examination by strictly following CUCET rules & COVID-19 preventive guidelines.
Shri Kanwalpal Singh Mundra, CUPB Registrar. & Controller of Examination informed that CUPB has registered an increase in the demand ratio of P.G. & Ph, D.programme per seat. He mentioned that the increase in student’s interest to study at the Central University of Punjab is the result of high-quality teaching & research exposure provided by our qualified faculty and well-trained staff. He conveyed their best wishes to the students who will appear in CUCET-2020 Examination & appealed them to stay safe by strictly following COVID-19 guidelines as advised by the government.
Speaking on this occasion, Shri Mundra mentioned that our university will be managing CUCET-2020 test centres in 9 cities (out of selected 141 cities) and we have requested District Magistrates to extend support to CUCET-2020 test centres in Ambala, Amritsar, Bathinda, Bhiwani, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Dharamshala, Shrinagar, and Shimla. He added, that the students can detail of their CUCET Exam and download admit card by visiting www.cucetexam.in. He asserted that all the amenities would be provided to ensure a comfortable environment during the exam.
