CEC of Jhanjeri campus achieves autonomous status by UGC

MOHALI: Chandigarh Engineering College of CGC Jhanjeri Campus has accorded an autonomous status by University Grants Commission (UGC). With the new status , the college will now be able to prepare its own courses, syllabus, routine and conduct examination and also asses papers without prior permission. This prestigious recognition underscores CEC’s unwavering commitment to providing world-class education, fostering a robust culture of research, and nurturing the visionary leaders of tomorrow. The campus hs been recognized for outstanding quality in education by Natinal assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) by granting ‘A+’ accreditation.

With autonomous status, CEC gains the academic freedom to design and implement a curriculum that is both contemporary and comprehensive, meticulously tailored to the evolving needs of industry and society.
