Alpha School launched at Rayat Bahra University

MOHALI: Alpha School was launched at Rayat Bahra University here today in the presence of a galaxy of renowned academicians and representatives from industrial partners.

Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University, said that Alpha School is dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and industry. Fostering industry collaboration and preparing students for real-world challenges, Alpha school aims to be a premier center for innovation, practical learning, and professional development.

Representatives from the industry including Harpreet, CEO Incinque, Jasjit Sullar, Co-Founder, Director at Incinque Business Solutions, Gracy, Head R&D, Antier Solutions, Shashi Pal, COO, Antier Ssolutions, Karan, Head, BIO, Antier Solutions, Freddy Walespathy, SBM, SAS, and Himesh Agarwal, Skill Labs, speaking on the occasion said they endorsed the university vision to empower students with the skills and knowledge required to excel in their careers by providing them with unparalleled opportunities for industry engagement and hands-on learning experiences.

Vice-Chairman of Rayat Bahra Group of Institutions Gurinder Singh Bahra said that workshops, seminars, and training sessions designed to enhance soft skills, technical expertise, and industry readiness were hallmarks of Alpha School. The school would provide a dedicated space for research and development, encouraging students to innovate and create solutions to real-world problems, he added.

He said that collaborations with leading companies and organizations to offer internships, certifications, projects, and mentorship programs, the school has a dynamic curriculum that evolves with industry trends and demands, ensuring that the students are always ahead of the curve.

Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University, speaking on the occasion said that the university would endeavor to make Alpha School a leading institution recognized for its excellence in industry collaboration, innovative education, and producing graduates who are industry-ready and capable of making significant contributions to their fields.

Prof Satbir Singh Sehgal, Vice-President of Rayat Bahra University, said that Alpha School is a crucial division that fosters partnerships between the academic institution and industry partners facilitating collaborative research, knowledge sharing and technology transfer.

Sakshi Mehta, Director of the Alpha School, welcomed the guests. Dr SK Bansal Dean academic along with other senior faculty members were also present on this occasion.
