MP Pandove condoles death of Rajinder Pal

CHANDIGARH: Former secretary of Punjab Cricket Association and former treasurer of Board of Control for Cricket in India MP Pandove condoled the death of Rajinder Pal with whom he had shared the dressing room during his playing days.

Pandove had nostalgic memories of Rajinder Pal as his captain of the Punjab State Team and also as an astute fast bowler who played for Delhi, Punjab, Southern Punjab and Haryana in 98 first class matches capturing 337 wickets and also played a Test match against England in 1963-1964.

Pandove remembered him as a great fighter on and off the cricket field. The cricketers from Patiala region greatly benefited from his vast experience.
A two-minute silence was observed in the memory of Rajinder Pal by the PCA officials and the players at the end of the final of M.L. Markan Trophy at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali.
