Tehsildar of Guhla had put red light on father's car, traffic police issued challan

GUHLA CHEEKA: Traffic Police Kaithal has challaned the vehicle of the newly appointed Tehsildar of Guhla for fixing a red light. After the challan, the Tehsildar immediately removed the red beacon from the vehicle.

The vehicle which has been challaned by the traffic police was registered in the name of the Tehsildar's father. The traffic police also instructed the Tehsildar not to install the red beacon again if he did not have permission to install it. Tehsildar Manoj Malik had joined Guhla on Monday. The car in which he had arrived had a red light on it. Some people of the city immediately complained about this to the in-charge of Kaithal Traffic Police. On Tuesday, the team of the challan branch of the traffic police reached the official residence of the Tehsildar in Guhla.

There was a car parked there with red light on. The traffic police immediately informed the owner of the vehicle. Tehsildar reached the spot and could not show any permission to install red beacon on the vehicle. After this the traffic police issued a challan of Rs 1500 on the vehicle. The vehicle on which the challan was issued was registered in the name of Tejbir Malik, father of Tehsildar Manoj Malik and its address was given as village Seenk of Panipat.

SHO Traffic Ramesh Chandra said that many people had called him from Guhla and informed him that Tehsildar Guhla has installed a red beacon on his vehicle which is wrong. After that, employees of the challan branch of traffic police from Kaithal were sent to Guhla. When they reached the Tehsildar's official residence, a car with red beacon was parked there. The red light on the vehicle was installed without government permission and against the rules. challan of Rs 1500 has been issued.
