Eid-Ul-Fitar celebrated in Qadian, thousands of Muslim Offered Eid Namat

QADIAN: Eid-ul-Fitar which marks the culmination of the fasting month of Ramdhan, is being celebrated here in Qadian. Maulana Mohammad Inam Ghori Chief Secretary Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat led the Eid-Ul-Fitar prayer at 9:30 A.M in Masjid Aqsa Qadian in which a large number of Muslims took Part in the Eid Prayer.

After Eid Namaaz  he delivered “Khutba Eid” on the importance of the Day. He said in his speech that Ramdhan, the Ninth Month of the Islamic Lunar Calendar, is observed as a fasting period by Muslims who abstain from food and water from Sunrise to sunset and it culminates in Eid Celebrations. After the Khutba Eid he took his hands for silent prayer in which thousands of Muslims joined in it.

Special arrangements were made for women’s to offer Eid Namaz. On the other hand thousands of Muslims came out early morning dressed in their finery to offer the Special Eid Congregational prayers as thanksgiving at Mosques. Muslims greeted each other after Eid Namaz and Khutba Eid. Special Food was served at Langar Khana  to the Eid Participants.
