BATALA: in an order to implement the Safe School vehicle scheme launched to safe the school students from untoward accident by the Punjab , Gems Cambridge International School organized a workshop on the Safe School vehicle in which School principal Imtazul Hussain was the chief guest while Inspector Raghbir Singh in charge traffic Education cell was the spokesman.
While addressing the drivers and cunductors, Inspector Raghbir Singh said that It was the prime duty of the drivers to safe the precious lives of the students and drivers should have a legel driving license and must have a minimum experience of five years.
He said that school bus should be fitted speed governors and drivers should drive the vehicle within the speed limit. Besides school vehicles should be fitted with CCTV cameras and accompanied by helpers.
The drivers also asked various questions regarding the traffic rules and traffic education cell also distributed traffic rules to be pasted in the vehicles.
