Two accused arrested involved in the murder of Hindu Sangarsh Sena” District president Vipan Sharma

AMRITSAR: On the tip of Police has arrested two accused who were involved in the broad day light murder of Hindu Sangarsh Sena” District president Vipan Sharma (45) on October 30.

Two unidentified masked youth pumped number of bullets to Sharma and escaped away on motorcycle from the spot where nobody dared to come forward   to chase killers.

There were four unidentified turbaned youth were involved in the brutal killing of Vipan Sharma who was killed from Point Blank range in full public view at Bharat Nagar locality of Batala Road.  

Addressing the press conference here today, Police Commissioner S S Shrivastav said that accused Vishal Sharma resident of Tarn Taran Road Amritsar was arrested with motorcycle used in the killing of Vipan Sharma.

Commissioner said that accused during investigation, confessed that at the time of murder of Vipan Sharma was driving the motorcycle and his accomplice was sitting on rear seat.

Accused also confessed that he had helped the two accused Saraj Mintu and Shubam to flee from the spot. Accused also revealed that one more accused Kuvarbir Singh helped all the accused to move out of Punjab safely as his car was used for this purpose, said Commissioner adding  Kuvarbir Singh was also arrested.

Commissioner said police were also conducting frequent raids at various locations to nab Saraj Mintu and Shubam to be arrested shortly.
