Rayat- Bahra Ropar Campus is all set for New Courses with Google and Siemens

ROPAR: Rayat- Bahra Ropar Campus today annunciated the new courses in B-Tech & MBA in collaboration with top multinationals Google and Siemens for the upcoming academic session. In a press conference here at Rupnagar today,

Dr Suresh Seth, Campus Director, Rayat-Bahra Ropar Campus said that our Group is committed to provide a dynamic, exhilarating, discovery-driven & intellectual environment to our students. He further stressed that “We believe that these New Age Learning programs combining interdisciplinary pedagogy, world-class infrastructure and the right enabling environment would help us train students for leadership positions in academia, industry, government, research laboratories and nonprofit organizations”. Rayat-Bahra Ropar Campus will provide free Google Chromebook to the new aspirants in B.Tech CSE in Android Development in association with Google. As a part of its Economic Social Responsibility, the Rayat-Bahra Group have also launched a wide range of scholarship programs for deserving students.
Addressing a gathering of around hundred persons including Principals of leading schools and media persons of Rupnagar area, Dr. Suresh Seth shared that the leading MNC’s Google and Siemens would be providing hands on training to the students in offering 60 seats each in B-Tech Computer Science with specialization in Android Development and MBA (Digital Marketing) and 60 seats in B-Tech Mechanical (Design and Development). Rayat-Bahra Ropar Campus is also going to start short term certificate, diploma and degree programs in collaboration with TATA Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and PTE course in association with Pearson India Ltd.
Discussing with print and electronic media persons, Dr. Seth elaborated about the highly appreciated initiative of Mobile Lab set up by Rayat-Bahra Ropar Campus which caters the needs of Government schools of near-by areas in performing practical’s of Physics, Chemistry & Computer Science under Neighbourhood Development Scheme.

Dr. Ajay Goyal, Joint Campus Director, RBRC said that the new courses are being introduced to prepare Industry and future ready professionals. There is a general grievance of industry that they have to tailor fresh engineers according to Industry’s needs. With industries now coming in collaboration with the Rayat-Bahra Group the students would be trained as per the requirements of the industry during their courses, he said.
Dr. Goyal further told that Rayat-Bahra Group had topped among the colleges running under the Punjab Technical University in providing placements to students passing out from its institutions. Rayat-Bahra Ropar Campus has hired best professionals to boost the competency of the students in soft skills, he added.
