Poster Making Competition on Digital India at HMV

JALANDHAR : The Post Graduate Department of Commerce and Management of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya (HMV) organized a Poster Making competition on the theme Digital India and Demonetization here today.
Students participated enthusiastically in the competition conducted in four categories i.e. Seedlings for first year students, saplings for second year students, plants for third year and trees for PG students.
The
event was judged by Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, Head Of the Departement, Commerce and Sharma, Fine Arts. The posters displayed a diverse show of various aspects of the digital economy that the current government is aiming to achieve. Divya, Palak and Bhupinder got first and second prize respectively in Seedlings category. Ragini got first prize and Venika got second prize in Saplings category. Soniya got first prize and Pallavi got second prize in Plants category.
Abha and Harpreet got first and second prize respectively in Trees category. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen gave the prizes to the winners and appreciated their efforts. These students also presented their posters in various classes and described the motive behind their posters. On this occasion, Dr. Seema Khanna, Associate Prof. in Commerce and other teachers were also present.
