AMRITSAR: Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar organised a Poster Making competition with the theme 'Global Harmony and peace' under G-20 University Connect series in engaging young minds with the global leadership.
Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu and as a joint venture by office of Dean Student Welfare and Dean Academic Affairs, Poster Making competition came up to be an exciting opportunity for budding artists to showcase their talent under an international forum. The competition took place at Architecture Department, GNDU and was coordinated by Dr. Shalini Behal, Ar. Ashvind and Dr. Deepika. Students from various Under-Graduate and Post-graduate courses and colleges from Amritsar, Jalandhar, Pathankot, Gurdaspur and other regional campuses affiliated by GNDU participate in great zeal to ensure their presence as a Global citizen.
More than 40 students enrolled themselves in the competition and came up with their extraordinary artistries in outcasing their opinions on the theme in light of spreading harmony and peace in the multinational society. Results are to be announced on 28th April in G-20 University Connect lecture at Guru Granth Sahib Bhawan Auditorium, GNDU. Quiz, Essay Writing Competition and Panel Discussion will be held on 25th, 26th and 27th April respectively in the University campus on assigned venues. The poster making competition completed with the spirits high on enthusiasm achieving the target set to be perceived by the youth.
